Guilt Free Dessert

Yesterday, after a crazy hard work out and a salad for dinner I was craving something sweet. I did not want to ruin all of my hard work so I assumed the day would end without satisfaction. The good news is I was wrong. I happened to click on a pin on Pinterest from my sister, Sly, and I found my answer.

A great blog, Use Real Butter, shared this incredible recipe.

I chopped two (almost) brown bananas and stuck them in the freezer for an hour and a half. The blogger from Use Real Butter suggests an hour in the freezer, but it wasn't enough our our 'naners.

After I pulled them out of the freezer, I began scraping them off the plate with a knife. GB thought I was taking too long and attempted to use his hands. Unfortunately, our bananas weren't completely frozen and he got messy banana all over his hand. That's what you get when you are impatient. Next, I  threw the bananas into the ninja.

You could stop right here and enjoy an ice-cream impostor, but I kept going.

I added a scoop of peanut butter and a scoop of cocoa powder.

Don't be confused by the baby food image you see below. This is one, real deal dessert. It tastes incredible. GB and I had an entire conversation about how we were going to make a huge batch, freeze it, and scoop when we need a fix. The best part is the dessert is full of fruit and protein.

I beg you  - make this. Make it now. You can thank me later.
