Be My Guest

I am so excited to announce that Kiss My Smash has it's first guest blogger! LT is a great friend of mine - and just like me, wants to be healthy without starving! Today she is sharing with us a great, healthy recipe Without further ado - please enjoy today's post.

Hey Everyone!
I’m so excited to be KISS MY SMASH first guest blogger! A little bit about myself- I’m 27 years old and a mother of one handsome 19 month old.  I have a spray tanning business and love my job.  It allows me to be home with my son most days- so I feel very blessed for that!
Just like Smash I love cooking, baking, crafting!
Like most of you I love the sweeter things in life! I’m not one of those girls that can eat a bag of Oreos and stay thin (sad but true for most of us).  Yummm I just got thinking about Oreos! Anyway,  I love  baking and recently I’ve been finding amazing healthy recipes that I wanted to share with everyone. I hope to be able to write and share more with you soon.
For today I’ve made Chocolate Chip Cookies (Gluten/Dairy Free). The Gluten Free lifestyle has changed my typical eating habits and has helped my stomach issues and I have more energy than ever! Here's some info on gluten free diets:
Along with incorporating a Gluten Free lifestyle (not DIET). I’ve also decided to start cooking more paleo recipes for myself and my family. This is a great blog that showcases and highlights paleo eating:
My feeling is that you can enjoy cookies, cupcakes, and all the other amazing sweets without feeling guilty while doing it. Trust me I am nowhere near a perfect eater and I love eating all Smash’s yummy recipes and it’s ok to enjoy all of these in moderation
NOW IT’S GAME TIME- Try this recipe I promise you will love them and feel so much better about eating a chocolate chip cookie!

Chocolate Chip Cookies (Dairy Free/Gluten Free)
2 ½ cups blanched almond flour *
½ teaspoon celtic sea salt (I used regular salt)
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ cup grapeseed oil
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
½ cup agave nectar
1 cup dark chocolate chips
1. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl
2. Stir together wet ingredients in a smaller bowl
3. Mix wet ingredients into dry
4. Form ½ 1-inch balls and press onto a olive oil cooking sprayed pan or use parchment paper
5. Bake at 350° for 7-10 minutes ( I think 8 minutes is perfect)
6. Cool and serve
Makes 24 cookies

Hope you enjoyed today's post from LT! I'd love to hear your thoughts on this recipe! Let me know if you try it out!
